About
The enemies of human liberation have spent billions of dollars researching the methods to maintain their hegemony. Hierarchical power is reified and maintained by this unending deluge of analysis, organizational theory, and strategic methodological improvements. The movement to construct a horizontal alternative must likewise develop its practices, its theories of organization, and its methods, if it hopes to end hierarchical hegemony. Though under duress, we must construct liberatory alternatives.
Focus and Scope
- Organizational theory around building horizontal power structures
- Theory, practice, and analysis about building a mass movement
- Analyses of existing or historical horizontal movements
- Complex systems analysis (or other organizational theories) applied to these topics
- Analysis and proposition of direct democratic/consensus methodologies
- Development of horizontal justice methodologies
- Analyses of industrial and organizational psychology in a horizontal context
- The development of horizontal pedagogies
- The exploration of subaltern, non-hegemonic, and culturally specific forms of horizontal power, both contemporary and historic.
